SWISS Corner Milano: are you ready to fly?

Amo Londra e questo e’ un dato di fatto. Tuttavia spesso non riesco a fare a meno di sentire una certa nostalgia di Milano.

Milano non e’ la mia citta’ natale, ma la mia citta’ di adozione, quella che mi ha accolta,amata, entusiasmata e emozionata. Una citta’ che e’ riuscita a darmi veramente tanto nei cinque anni lunghi ed intensi in cui l’ho molto piu’ che semplicemente assaporata, ma posso dire di averla vissuta intensamente.

Per questo motivo molto spesso ci torno, sia per lavoro che per piacere, e ogni volta non mi perdo l’occasione per visitare i miei posticini preferiti, dei quali peraltro voglio parlarvi sempre piu’ spesso, cosi’ da potervi sempre consigliare il meglio anche non essendo fisicamente li’ 🙂

Perche’ vi dico questo oggi dunque? Perche’ sono venuta a conoscenza di un’iniziativa carina che si sta svolgendo presso lo Swiss Corner di Via Palestro 2, che terminera’ il 12 Novembre 2015, che se fossi a Milano non mi sarei persa, e della quale mi e’ proprio venuta voglia di parlarvi!

I love London, and this is a fact. However, often I can’t avoid to feel a little bit nostalgic about Milan.

Milan is not where I was born, but my city “of adoption”, the one that has welcomed me, beloved me, thrilled me and excited me for five and truly intense years; those years in which I can say with confidence that I haven’t only “tasted” the city but intensely experienced instead.

For this reason, I go back quite often, whether is for business or pleasure, I never miss the opportunity to visit my favorite places, which I also would like to start talking to you even more often, so as I can always recommend you the best places, even if I am not physically there ‘:)

So, why am I telling you this then? Because I come across a very nice event which is taking place at Via Palestro 2 Swiss Corner Milano Bar, which will end on the 12th of November 2015, and that I would have definitely join if I was in Milan!

Lo Swiss corner è un lounge & restaurant esclusivo, concepito come un nuovo punto d’incontro tra Svizzera ed Italia e voluto dalla Camera di Commercio Svizzera, in cui è possibile farsi coccolare da ospitalità ed eleganza in puro “Swiss Style”.

Col suo lungo bancone bar sito al centro del locale,l’offerta di questo “chic bitrot” va da prelibate colazioni a gustosi pranzi con piatti unici, da aperitivi accompagnati da un ricco buffet a deliziose cene d’atmosfera, sino a ottimi drinks e cocktails per il dopocena.

The Swiss corner lounge & restaurant has a unique space concept, which represents the link between Switzerland and Italy (as per the original concept of the project signed by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce) and where you can get pampered by a friendly and sophisticated approach in typical “Swiss Style”.

Grazie ad una collaborazione con la compagnia aerea SWISS International Air Lines, il bistrot sarà allestito con diverse immagini del nuovo aereo di punta, il Boeing 777-300ER, che servirà diverse tratte dell’Est Asiatico e del Nord America a partire dal 2016 (very exciting! Ho volato piu’ volte con Swiss e mi sono trovata benissimo!).

Thanks to a partnership with Swiss International Air Lines, the Swiss Corner will held a unique exhibition of unpublished pictures of their new flagship aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER, which will offer brand new routes in East Asia and North America starting from 2016 (very exciting! I flew more ‘times with Swiss and had an amazing time!).

Il locale verra’ allestito con i dettagli tipici da aereo SWISS (sale e pepe, tovaglioli, zucchero).

The venue has been entirely set up with the typical details which you would find in a SWISS flight (red and white salt and pepper containers, napkins and sugar bags).

Inoltre (e questa e’ la parte che mi piace di piu’), ogni caffè verrà servito con un cioccolatino svizzero; gli stessi

che di solito vengono offerti a bordo dei voli SWISS.

Furthermore (and this the bit which I like most), any coffee will be served with the typical chocolate praline usually offered when you travel on SWISS flights.

Tutto questo per farvi immergere completamente in un’ atmosfera ospitale svizzera e l’attenzione di SWISS per ogni piccolo

dettaglio, con l’obiettivo di fare sentire ogni passeggero come se fosse a casa propria.

The purpose of this event/exhition combo is to immerse you in the friendly chic atmosphere typical of the Swiss flights as well as the company incredible attention to detail, with the ultimate goal of making each passenger feel as if he was at home.
